What data do you use for the email breach check?

We use Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) breach data to check whether your email appears in known data breaches. We do not use any other breach source.

Do you send alerts in real time?

No. We run scheduled re-checks for monitored emails and send email alerts when new breaches are added that include your email.

What do you store when I run an email breach check?

For monitoring we store the minimum needed to provide alerts: monitored emails, alert preferences, check timestamps, and breach snapshots. We never store passwords or inbox content.

How often do you re-check my email?

Paid monitoring plans run scheduled daily re-checks against HIBP breach data. The free one-time email breach check runs only once unless you start monitoring.

Can I monitor multiple emails?

Yes. Depending on your plan you can monitor one or several email addresses and get email alerts when new breaches are added that include any of them.

How do I unsubscribe from breach alerts?

Every breach alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also turn alerts off from your dashboard settings for each monitored email.
