From Breach Monitoring to M365 Posture Management: Why We Evolved
SecurityScore.me started with email breach awareness. Today the product is built for managed service providers who need continuous Microsoft 365 security posture management across customer tenants.
Where we started
Early versions of SecurityScore.me focused on helping people and small teams understand whether an email address appeared in known data breaches. That work relied on breach disclosure data and answered a narrow but important question: has this email been exposed?
For individuals, that is a useful starting point. For managed service providers, the operational question is broader: what is the security posture of each customer's Microsoft 365 tenant, and how do you monitor it continuously?
What we focus on now
SecurityScore.me is now an MSP-focused Microsoft 365 Security Posture Management platform. The product centers on an organization workspace with separate customer workspaces for each managed environment.
Through read-only Microsoft Graph access, the platform assesses Microsoft 365 posture, including Secure Score, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, identity signals, users, and licenses. MSP teams also monitor domains, websites, and related assets alongside tenant data.
Findings are severity-ranked with remediation guidance. Scheduled assessments and monitoring feed notification policies and alert groups. Customer-ready reports support QBRs, audits, and remediation planning.
What changed on the website
Public content now reflects MSP security operations: Microsoft 365 posture, multi-tenant monitoring, findings, alert routing, and customer reporting. Legacy breach-check articles remain available while we publish MSP-focused guides and solution pages.
If you arrived through an older breach-monitoring page, the product still aims to help organizations improve security. The primary audience is now MSPs and Microsoft 365 administrators managing customer tenants.
